Is Cough And Pain In Neck After Being Treated For Puss In Throat And Sore And Swollen Glands Normal?

My left side of my throat was swollen and I wound up with a fever,real bad chills,for three days,went to my dr,she said I have a big pocket of puss in my throat plus my glands are really sore.she gave me a shot,plus amoxicillin,now I m concerned,I m started to cough a little,and my left side of my neck is starting to hurt,I m also worried about my lungs

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given by you I could say from this that this was the throat infection and in autolizing phase bout of cough increases and this could be painful some times which is not to worry this would come around soon symptomatic treatment can be tried, take care and have a nice day.
