Is Coughing Up Of Blood Due To Softin And Montelukast?

Hello Sir, My son is 15 years old and due to his continuous cough problems, doctor has prescribed Softin and Montelukast Sodium as anti allergy pills. Yesterday, he complained of having blood in his cough. Although the amount of blood was very little, we are still worried. Is this because of the pills mentioned above?

I really appreciate your concern, most of the cough symptom is due to allergic constitution but persistence cough if associate with some other symptoms like fever and hemoptysis then it need to be sent for investigation and X-ray chest is one of it, till then symptomatic medicine can be continued hope this information helps.
