Is Creatinine 8.74 Level Normal?

Dear Doctor;
My brother has creatinine level 8.74. He is 50 years old having Blood Group B+.He has been advised to go for kidney transplantation within 2 months. Meanwhile he has ben advised to for dialysis .We are looking for donar could you pleae suggest .Regards. Pk.Bhattacharya
