Is Cyst Suspected To Be Endometriosis Serious?

Hello, I am 38 years old and married with 4 kids. Recent scan shows that I have a 3.5cm cyst suspected to be endometrisis. I have yet to get my mense (2 weeks late but my period has always been irregular) so, could this cyst shrink or disappear once I got it? I am not pregnant. Thank you. Sue (Singapore)

Hello,

I think you should do an ultrasound to evaluate the cyst measurements.

Also, you need to do Ca125 marker. The cyst can shrink or get enlarged over time. Also, it can burst.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
