Is Dark Brown Blood Discharge During Periods Post Ablation A Concern?

I had an ablation in January due to a thirty day cycle of passing golf ball sized clots. Twenty eight days after the ablation I had a regular, much less period. In amount and duration. As of this month s cycle starting the blood is dark brown-black. Should I contact my gynecologist?
