Is Delayed Periods The Cause For Pregnancy ?

I am 28 years old,had miscarraige six months back,and started trying to concieve from last month onwards,my period was due on 8th may,though my periods are irregular,last month i had periods on time,i got my ovulation study done,according to doctor i ovulated on 21st day and we had intercourse twice for 48 hours to concieve,but till date i mean its 45th day and i did not get my periods and home kit also shows negative,according to my doctor this day kits are accurate and i may not be pregnant ,but i have no symptoms of period nor pregnancy ,my thyroid is also normal i mean i do take medicine but its controlled,very confused please advise

you should get a blood test ,serum beta hcg done t be sure if you are pregnant or not.sometimes there is something like a biochemical pregnancy in which your urine pregnancy may or may not be positive but the sure method is serum beta hcg titre. the symptoms of pregnancy may not appear early in many pregnancies. please do not rely on any symptoms of pregnancy ,get a blood est to know for sure.
