General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Delay in rupture of follicles is not a good sign as it would decrease the chances of conceiving.
Rupture of follicles and ovulation has to occur in time. If it gets fertilised, endometrium of uterus would have prepared for receiving the fertilised ovum for implantation.
If there is delay in ovulation, the chances of implantation, if at all the ovum gets fertilized is very very less.
Ovulation can be induced in time by means of medication.
Hence, kindly consult Gynecologist or Infertility specialist for appropriate evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
