Is Delaying Period For A Month Safe Post Pilonidal Sinus Surgery?

I recently had PNS surgery, and went to a pharmacist in order to get medication that will delay my period this month as I m still changing the dressing on my wound every other day. The first pharmacist I went to gave me birth control (Yasmin), but I ve read many bad reviews and learned that it doesn t stop your period at all. The next pharmacist prescribed Daflon for me. My father used to take Daflon when he was bleeding heavily due to a ruptured something or other. Is it safe to take it to stop my period for a month? Would it even work? I was told to take 2 tablets a day for 3 days, starting on the first day of my period

Hi,

Daflon will not stop your period at all, there are other means to stop your period but you need to consult your OBGYN doctor first.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
