Is Disc Replacement A Better Option To Treat Disc Herniations?

Hi I have a bunch of disc herniations L4-L4, L5-s1 and t8-t9 and bulges at t5-t6-t7-t9-t10 my doctor also said that I have koliosis not scoliosis but I don't find anything on koliosis and I am also supposed to have fusion surgery for my lumbar section L4-L5-s1 but people are telling me to go for the disc replacement instead any suggestions?
