Is Discharge Of Tissue Normal While Taking Birth Control Pills ?

I am 18 years old. I started birth control on the last day of my period which coincidentally had been a sunday. Ive been on birth control for about 2 weeks i should be starting my 3rd week tommorrow. However, I am experiencing not spotting but the discharge of tissue. Is this normal or should I consult my doctor?

Hello,

It may be due to passage of clots, if the symptoms are persistent it is better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. You may require an ultrasound scan to look for any abnormal lesions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
