Is Discontinuing Nexpro Advisable When Diagnosed With Hiatus Hernia?

M suffering from stomach pain,I did endoscopy it says sliding hiatus hernia,doc suggested me to take nexpro rd 40,I took it for almost 5months ,now I have stopped taking it,again m facind d same problem,whtr I should continue taking nexpro rd 40,please suggest

Hello,

You have been prescribed antacid for your acid reflux due to Hiatus hernia.

The prescribed antacid will decrease acid secretion but will not cure your underlying cause.

So you might need fundoplication like laproscopic surgical management for your problem.
