Is Dizziness A Matter Of Concern In A Cardiac Patient?

I am a 70 year old male and had 4 stints to open arteries around my heart around 12 years ago. Tonight i got dizzy after eating dinner and helping my granddaughter with her home work. This has lasted been going on about 45 minutes. My heart rate is currently 66, which is usually 60 or below. No other symptions that I know of. I did go outside about 5 minutes after and unloaded 2 bages of milorginate and 4 bages of bug be gone out of my truck. Is this dizzness anything to be concerned about?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Dizziness must be evaluated in a cardiac patient. Possible causes like TIA(transient ischemic attack) and arrhythmias must be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
