Is Doubled Intake Of Amoxicillin Instead Of Tynole A Cause For Concern?

Hi I am 21. And I was prescribed two different types of medicine yesterday for tooth pain and for strep and one is for every 6 hours with is my tynole with 300mg. Of codeine and my Amoxicillin 500mg. I took one 500mg of Amoxicillin at 2:15 am and then I accidently took it again at 4:15 instead of the tynole. Should I be worried?

Thanks for posting your query.

Well there is no need to worry. One extra dose of Amoxacillin will not cause any problem.

Just take that missed dose of Tylole also and then continue the same course of medication.

Because of taking one extra dose of amoxacillin you will fall short of 1 capsule of amoxacillin at the end of course. So buy on more capsule and finish the course as it was supposed to be.
