Is Drug Test Done Before The Clavicle Repair Surgery?
I have to get surgery on my clavicle, because I had a fractured clavicle. I just wanted to know if they are going to test for methamphetamines beforehand they didn t say anything about testing for methamphetamines. all they said was they do not take any NSAIDS AND ASPRIN 5 days before the surgery. it is Saturday night now and I have surgery on Wednesday that is three and a half days from now it says do not take any antacids which is aspirin, Celebrex, diclofenac, etodolac, fenoprofen, ibuprofen, indomethacin, meloxicam, naproxen, rofecoxib, valdecoxib. does methamphetamine show up as any of these? please tell me if any of this will show up on my blood test or if there will even be a drug test before the surgery they did not tell me anything about a drug test I just need to know? thank you for all your help in advance. Drugs test will not be done routinely before surgery. If they find something suspicious from the history, a drug test might be carried out.
