Is Duct Tape Advisable For A Wart On The Finger?

Hi, so I found a wart on my finger about a week ago. I have been doing duct tape for about that long to try and get rid of it. All that remains is a sort of hole of fleshy skin surrounded by white. Is the wart still there? Can I take the duct tape off? What am I doing wrong?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Yes, you should take the tape off. And its possible the wart is gone. However only time can tell if its removed completely. You will see if it regrows or not.
If yes, than you may think of its surgical removal by a surgeon.

Regards.
