Is Edema In The Body Normal After Infusion Of Saline?
I was in the hospital for 3.5 days due to cellulitis in the left arm of unknown origin. During that time I was infused with probably 4-5 bags of saline n 5 bags of vanco. Dcd from hospital today in extremely bloated with bilateral feet n hand as well as gut swelling. Is this normal

It might be due to saline infusion that has led to slight volume overload. Prolonged bed rest can also cause edema of leg.
Generally it will settles in few days, I edema persist for long better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
