My wife has lost 60 lbs in the last 10 months. She has lost her appetite and is particularly averse to sweets and anything salty. She has thick mucus when she awakes in the am, but no sinus condition or reflux. It makes her nauseous when she tries to clear her throat.bshe has had scans and blood tests galore. She has had a HIDA scan which indicates 25% ejection rate AofG her gall bladder. They suggest surgery. Apart from this there seems to be no other possible cause. I have noticed her hands shake when she lifts a glass and her handwriting has degenerated. She is 71. Other than gall bladder surgery we we at a loss as to what to do next.
