Is Enema Advisable Post An Abdominal Hysterectomy?

I had an abdominal hysterectomy on Monday the 26th. Right afterwards I was rushed back to surgery for hemorrhaging. So I have stitches in my lower belly and in my vagina. Is it safe to use an enema for constipation? I have been taking 2 stool softeners sense my surgery.

Hi I think it is safe to take enema . But you can try dulcolax suppository 2 tabs at once per rectally prior to taking enema. It can help you in that. Hope it helps.
