General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Appendix removal surgery does not cause epididymitis
It is most commonly die to bacterial infections.
Do not worry it is not deadly disease. It is treatable.
I would suggests to consul the urologist and undergo
Urine and urethral swab microscopy and culture,
Other cause like cyst, varicocele should be rule out by the physical examination and USG scan of the pelvis.
Doctor will give following advises:
Take antibiotic like augmentin
Tablet diclofenac and serratiopeptidase
Avoid heavy weight lifting, Wear supporting device that support the scrotum, Wear loose under garments, take Warm bath.
Take above treatment for 3 week for complete clearance of the infections
Hope this may help you
