Is Epistaxis Hereditary?

Yes my brother in law was diagnosed with epistaxis he called to say that my husband and his other brothet all have to be tested for it and if they are okay he needs a shot on a monthly badis for evr this doesnt make sense why would their negative results mean he needs a shot what difference would their results make

No, Epistaxis or nasal bleeding has many causes.One of them is hereditary causes that run in families.First of all your brother in law should be properly examined and investigated for epistaxis to know the reason behind it.If your husband has no history of nasal bleeding then there is no point for unnecessary testing.
