Hi,

Noted your small history about excessive sneezing that stops on taking hot water, tea or anti-allergic medicines.
Sneezing is due to allergens entering into the nasal cavity and instigating the reaction to cause sneezing as a protective mechanism to remove the allergens. This is normal and usual body response.
This means there are allergens in the area where you are getting excessive sneezing.
Prevention is better than cure hence you have to avoid the allergens that you must have noticed by now to cause sneezing.
Use masks.
Avoid the places that cause sneezing.
Topical steroid nasal spray help a lot.
IF not adequate then oral steroids, decongestants with anti-allergic properties need to be taken.
Also get Vitamin A and D done and if deficient the proper replacement may help you a lot.
Go for CT scan of nose and sinuses to if secondary problems like polyposis has started or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
