Is Exercise Advisable For A Woman After C-section?
Hello Dr, I m 32 years old. 5 months back I had my second c sec.I m still feeding my kid and planning to feed for another 7 more months. After both delivery I increased nearly 20 kg. My height 151cm and my weight is 76kg. I need to reduce it. Can I do jumping rope. Since my weight is more will it affect my joints. Daily I can send only half an hour for exercise. Kindly suggest some effective exercise. Thanks in advance.
Hi...Can understand your concern...As per your query about doing exercises after having c section is that normally mild to moderate routine exercises can be done after c section but severe exercise like jumping ,liftng weights and others which can exert pressure on uterus should be avoided as there can be chances of developing hernia ..For reducing weight ,aerobics, yoga and morning walks and jogging will be helpful....I hope the information helps you.You are welcome on HCM for any further query..Take care.
