Is Exercising Advisable While Experiencing Discomfort Inside Knee?

I have been a lot of discomfort on the inside of my knee. Today my Dr. Wants me to have an ultrasound as she said I I probably have a medial pain problem. Can I exercise it at home on my own or should I really see a physiothearapist as money is tight with me? Will just seeing a therapist be enough to get the excercise program and work it at home or will they probably need to keep increasing the excercises?

Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns ..
Is there trauma to the knee? What is the exact pathology? Have u done x ray and MRI of the knee?
In my opinion u should see an orthopedic surgeon for proper management..
As far as exercises are concerned u should see physiotherapist at least once so that u can understand how much tension u have to put on your muscle and how far u can go in any range of movement.. He may prescribe u static exercises too.....
