Is Experiencing Headache Considered Normal After Prednisone Intake For Two Days?
Hello...I m on day two of using predniSONE(20mg/10mgx2 a day) and I m experiencing mild/moderate headache pain, no other symptoms..just the headaches. Is this normal and is it possible for me to take regular Tylenol to alleviate the headache pain? Also, I m only on PredniSONE for six days to help with my asthma, just f.y.i. Thank you. YYYY@YYYY
The symptoms are consistent with common causes like a migraine or a tension headache, as a first line management, you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.
If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
