Is Extra Dosage Of Oxazepam Advisable Within 3 Hours Of Prior Intake?
Hi I took 15 mg Oxazepam 3 hrs ago can I take more now? Still feeling anxious and tense, I m new to this drug been taking for 3 days and the label reads 1-2 tablets daily for stress when required... I m 30yrs of age, weigh 60kgs and have no known health conditions and I m taking 25mg of Faverin that I m weaning off of.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Taking Tablet. Oxazepam by 3 hours is not advisable at all. It may produce drug toxicity. You need to leave 10 to 12 hours gap for the next dose to be taken. Kindly follow some other means to combat stress like meditation. It would take a couple of doses for the drug to show its effect. Hence, have patience and slowly you would realize its effect and would be back to normal. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
