Is Extra Heartbeat, Which Leads To Flutters, A Cause For Concern?
Hello. I have been diagnosed with an extra beat, which lead to flutters. I have been taking atenolol 10mgs, which worked until a few days ago. It started intermittently, but today has been steady. Is this cause for concern and can it wait until Monday to call my cardiologist?
If you don't have a pain in chest, or breathlessness on exertion, you can wait. But your cardiologist visit is mandatory and an echocardiogram is necessary. Asap
