Is Facial Swelling After A Bad Sunburn An Indication Of Healing?
Hello, I got bad sunburn 2 days ago on my face that caused swelling. The pain is gone now. But my face is still swollen. After reading some forums, it seems that the swelling is the bodies response to the injury and is a part of the healing process. Is this true?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
Yes, this swelling is body response. But it should decrease with time. If you are not diabetic and not having breathing difficulties, then just relax. If you are too worried, then take any anti-inflammatory drug as tablet aceclofenac two times for three days. As it is prescription drugs, please contact your local doctor he will prescribe these drugs.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
