Is Fasting Required For Lab Tests In A Breast Cancer Patient?

I am a breast cancer patient that started chemo one week ago. I need to get my labs done tomorrow but want to make sure if i need to fast or not. The CMP instructions stats non fast perform every other cycle. Is it ok that I eat before I have this test done?

Hello dear.Usually good time for the exams is the day before the chemo,soo the doctor can see your blood count ,read cells,wbc,PLT,witch is are very important for the next chemo.For this exams it is not important if you eat before this test its done.Best wishes
