Hi,

There are some women who do experience these symptoms during pregnancy.

Swelling of the feet is due to an impaired return of blood from the feet to the heart. It is usually not associated with any harm to mother or baby. Less commonly it can be associated with an increase in blood pressure and protein in the urine.

The tingling in the hand is likely due to carpal tunnel syndrome. It is due to an effect on a nerve as it passes from the wrist to the hand. It normally resolves after pregnancy. A wrist brace may help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
