Is Flesh Coloured Lump Beside The Uvula Due To Acid Reflux?

Hi. I have a flesh colored bump beside my uvula. Its been there for about 6 months. It doesnt hurt and is the same color as my uvula. I do have quite a bit of acid reflux so Im wondering if the 2 could be related? Im a little concerned. I am just now in the process of getting health insurance. So I will be seeing my doctor soon, but I am so worried about it and cant stop the anxiety until then.

As per your complain flesh colored bump beside the uvula along with acid reflux..
Well the flesh coloured lump that is painless seems to be a Mucous cyst.
They are Benign retention cysts formed due to blockage of minor salivary gland..
Other causes can be formation of epidermoid cyst, fat,warts etc..
Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Biopsy or FNAC can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case of Mucocele cyst you can be advised to do concentrated salt water rinses..
In case if there is no improvement Marsupialization or surgical excision can be done..
Other causes if ruled out with be treated accordingly..
