38 weeks pregnant feel like i have flu, started sore throat, headache, aches all over, feel terrible. Is it anything to do with pre labour? I doubt it but its all i keep seeing on line. Baby demo not moved as much today, will she b ok if in taking parletomal
Hi, Your symptoms are related to an upper respiratory tract infection and not due to prelabor. You can get proper treatment by visiting a physician. Paracetamol can be taken without any harm. You should also take warm saline gargles and lukewarm water for drinking. If you feel that the baby has not moved well, try to take down the fetal movement count for an hour at a stretch at three times of the day, preferably after eating and at rest. If the movements are less than at least three in an hour, report immediately to your consultant. Hope this helps.
