Is Fluid Pocket In Neck That Obstructs Swallowing And Eating A Serious Condition?

My daughter is in a LaFayette, CO Hospital at this moment. She has trouble swallowing and was told she has a Fluid Pocket in her neck that is pressing against her throat causing her to have difficulty swallowing and eating.

The Doctors seem to be at a loss on how to treat this. Is there anyone I could contact that has experience with this type of medical problem?
