Is Flying Safe When Diagnosed With Shingles On Scalp?

Hi, I was diagnosed with Shingles on my scalp, I am taking an Anti-viral, however I have a work dinner tomorrow night and also need to travel for work Wednesday on a 6 hour flight. Is it ok to go to dinner and travel on an airplane? Will the anti-viral ensure the symptoms won t get worse before they get better while I am away? Thank you.

It would be best to avoid such public transport and exposing others, I would request you to rest for as long as the virus is still active in your body to orevent transmission to others.
