Is Flying Safe While Suffering From Bacterial Pneumonia?

Hi My doctor suspects I may have bacterial pneumonia. My symptoms started just over two weeks ago, initially they thought I had a viral infection but I have since deteriorated. I am now on a 5 day course of augmentin antibiotics ( started on the 1st September ). I have been planning a surprise trip to uk from Australia for over a year now to surprise my twin brother for our 40th birthday.I am due to fly with my family on the morning of the 9th of September. Do you think this will be possible?

Hi welcome to health care magic ...

You have diagnosed with pneumonia..
For that have you done chest x ray for diagnosis???

You are given antibiotic for that....

After completing antibiotic course your auscultation and physical examination done.....

If you improve clinically and if no symptoms and no abnormal physical finding present than you can travel on ninth September...

Take care

If your symptoms not resolve fully than better to take rest

Hope your query solved
