Is Frequent But Limited Dose Of Diazepam Safe?

I am not addicted to diazepam, but occasionally when I feel anxious or find difficulty in sleeping. I do take about 10 mg. Sometimes my family members make me so tense about trivial matters that I feel like taking a calmpose just to calm myself. I don't over doze. Is it okay? How much is supposed to be overdoze in mgs?
