Is Frequent Usage Of Doxycycline Hydorchoride Safe?

iam 33 years old.I have been prescribed doxycycline hydrochloride with latic acid bacillus tablets for excessive boils on my scalp it is to be used for a duration of 10 days. I have been using this for the past 2 years as and when the problem erupts.. does it lead to any side effects? since I have been getting itchy and ling skin on my palm with slight discoloration at the back of my hand and the fingers .
