Hello Dr Lundi, I had ovulation confirmed by daily ultrasounds. My ultrasound at 5 weeks and 2 days showed gestational sac of 6.4 x 6.7 x 6.6 mm with a yolk sac. Is this a normal size for my dates? It seems a bit small. This is my 7th pregnancy and I have only carried one pregnancy to term. Thank you for your time.
Dont worry because size of gestational sac is normal ,but presence of yolk sac at 5 weeks is a good sign . Wait until one week to confirm heart beating of baby and than pregnancy will be more safe to continue. Be calm and take folic acid 5 mg per day .
All the best
