Is Getting Periods With Medicines Normal?

Hello doctor… I have taken Deviry tablets of 10mg twice a day for 21 days due to over-bleeding during period, as directed by gynecologist. When bleeding stopped I stopped taking tablets after 3 days. But bleeding again started within 3 days. I again started the medication and continued for 21 days. Then period comes within a week but bleeding was negligible. Now I’m waiting for the next cycle. I want to know is this normal?
