Is Giving Albendazole To Children For Worm In Intestine Safe?

Hi, my son is 2.5 yrs old ..we are to travel out of station 3 days from now for 10 days..I feel he has worm in his intestine. I had purchased Albendazole 10 ml syrup...now shall i proceed with giving him the full dose tonight after dinner ..I am circumspect has many had said child normally get fever after dosage. Pl suggest
