Is Giving Atarax Advisable For Sleeplessness To An Infant?

Hi My baby is 3.5 months and is healthy and cheerful. The only concern is that he does not sleep well. Neither during the day nor at night. His naps last for 5 minutes to an hour maximum. Never sleeps more than 2 hours max in an streach. A pedia advised Atarax drops for the same .Is it OK?.What should be the dosage?
