Is Giving Enterogermina Safe For Recurring Diarrhea In An Infant?
hi doctor..my daughter is 4.5 mths now. her weight is 6.8 kg. she is having loose motions now since 2 days , she does little little motion 8-9 times in a day. No motion when she is sleeping. she had it one month back also which lasted for 2 weeks..that time we gave her enterogermina and nor-metrogel. Nor- metrogel we gave for 5 days , twice a day 2.5 ml. Should i again start nor-metrogel.Will it be harmful to give her so frequently.

thanks for posting here...nor metrogel is an antibiotic which is only indicate in case of some infection...dont start it until you have her stool R/E and blood cp done.... just give her enterogermina which is a probiotic and increases the immunity and strentghens intestines....give her ORS after ever loose motion to prevent dehydration...
