Is Green Color Stool In An Hemorrhoids Patient Normal?

Hello, I ve been having hemorrhoids now for 10yrs as they are hereditary...Everything has really been fine except last 2-3 days when I have been having green crayon colored poop...I m not straining and it s not painful nor are there any strange odors...My hemorrhoids did bleed for about a day and cleared up the day before this happens...Is this something I should be concerned about? How long before it goes back to normal?What is causing the discoloration? PS In was juicing for a few months but stopped for past 2wks because I m on vacation and traveled down south within the US...Not sure if you needed that info as well

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a gastrointestinal infection.

I suggest to use daily probiotics.

The bleeding is probably related to the hemorrhoids.

I recommend to use a anti hemorrhoid cream such as Preparation H for local application.

I also suggest to avid constipation by eating a fiber rich diet.
