Is Gynecological Disorders, Related With Rectal Pressure?

get incredibly intense rectal pressure that seems to occur around ovulation (I have pcos so I am not regular). The pressure builds up over 30 minute period and would be rated as a 10 of 10 on pain scale. During this period I cannot find a comfortable position and I usually end up in a chest to knee position. After 40 minutes it eases up but I find I cannot sit on my bottom for the next 24 hrs as the area is very tender. Is this a gyn or gi issue?

hi healthcare magic user, from your description it looks like pelvic endometrosis, which can lead to adhesion between bowel and uterus, it could be cause for sever pain in period.
Adhesion can also aggrevates constipation.
if I would have been your doctor I would have advised you to get Diagnostic Laparocsopy with adhesiolysis done if it's very sever or intolerant.
If you want to avoid laparocsopy then you can try for OC pills for 3months continuous if the symptoms are releived then you can continue pill.
