General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, its possible to have a hair loss after any major disease or surgery or trauma. This condition is called telogen effluvium. This generally occurs 2 to 3 months after the stress. So this may explain your hair fall.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
