General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello user,
The number of pus cells are normal !! Normal numbers of pus cells are up to 0-5/hpf in males and may be up to 0-10/hpf in females.

The finding which is significant is bacterial count as it is moderate in number (which should be zero), but this test should be related clinically, if u r feeling frequency, urgency, burning sensation and dysurea, then it might be due to UTI, for that you have to take antibiotics and plenty of fluids.

In other case if the urine collection procedure was wrong like
1. You have to retract prepuce in case of males and retract labia majora in case of females before collecting urine, or
2. Its not collected in proper aseptic container,
3. It must be mid stream sample ,etc

then it may be falsely positive !!!

hope my info helped you !!
regards,
