Is Having A Foul Smell From A Ruptured And Draining Bartholin Cyst Normal?

I had a very large bartholin cyst abcess that grew from a pea to a grapefruit within 4 days. My dr scheduled me for surgery Monday but it ruptured today. Can I still have the gland removed if it ruptured? There is still about a nickel size knot and its still draining. Still tender. Also- it was a horrible smell too- is that normal? The fluid was not clear either.

abscess ruptured will released the pus inside .
pus has a foul smell.
though it drained , u need to consult surgeon to drain completely and remove all the pus .
he will break all the compartments that contain pus.
if neglected will grow again
