Is Having Sex A Cause For Little Chunks In Menstrual Discharge?

I woke up this morning with regular menstrual pains for me, but when I went to the bathroom to put in a tampon I discovered little chunks of what I assumed to be flesh and when I peed, only a little blood came out and more of those chunks. I also had sex last night.
