Is Headache A Hormonal Problem During Menopause?

Hi, I m approaching 50 and female (maybe coming up to the menopause although I still have a regular cycle) but in the last year I ve been getting headaches that usually come on 3 days before a cycle that completely wipe me out. I can tell when the headache is coming as the veins on the side of my head stick out and I feel so tired. The headaches often last for about 2-3 days. They have now started to come more often. Is this related to hormone changes? Or should I be worried?
