Is Headache A Side Effect Of Amoxicillin?

I have a 16 year old daughter who has had a sore throat for two weeks. She went Last Monday and was diagnosed with tonsillitis and prescribed Zithromax. It did not get any better. I took her to urgent care Monday night after hours and she was prescribed amoxicillan. Tonight she says her head feels like her brain is moving and her eyes hurt when she moves them. Her throat is still very sore. Could the amoxicillan be causing the headaches, etc?
