Is Headache With Throat And Breathing Problems Normal Symptom For A Severe Cold?

I am in my mid 20s and have had cold like symptoms for a day. Today I feel like I have something blocking my throat and feel the constant need to swallow. It is making it feel difficult to breathe. Is this a normal symptom of a severe cold? It has been accompanied by a headache and temperature yesterday.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, you had viral infection or allergic rhinitis, and bacterial secondary infection.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenylephrine , citrizine, diclofenac .
Avoid taking fruits, juices, ice cream, ice water etc.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
